Our solidarity commitments

La Rosée a développé un programme de mécénat autour de trois axes : la Terre, la Mer et l’Humain

We support concrete actions for the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants.

We have developed a solidarity program that focuses on three areas: the Earth, the Sea and the Human.

Our commitment to solidarity began in 2019 with Planète Urgence.

In 2022, we wanted to further strengthen our positive impact by supporting two new associations: The Coral Planters and 1001fontaines.

In 2024, we will continue and strengthen our commitments. A new association join our solidarity program: Toutes à l’école.

The commitments of La Rosée

Founded by Coline Bertrand and Mahault de Guibert, La Rosée works for the Earth, the Sea, and Humanity by supporting various associations.

Our commitment to the Earth with Planète Urgence

Our planet is in a state of emergency!

Planète Urgence is an NGO for international solidarity and development aid, created in 2000 and recognized as being of public interest.

It works to ensure that everyone can live with dignity and complete autonomy in a protected environment.

It is estimated that every minute, the equivalent of 11 football fields of tropical forest area disappears in the world!

Our Commitment to the Sea with The Coral Planters

The Coral Planters is an association that works in partnership with Reefscapers, a world leader in coral restoration for over 20 years.

The Coral Planters fights against the destruction of coral reefs and works for their restoration. It operates in the Indian Ocean, in the Maldives.

20% of coral reefs have already been irreversibly destroyed, and of the remaining 80%, only 30% are still in a healthy state.

Our commitment to the human with 1001fontaines

1001fontaines is an NGO that has been fighting against inequalities of access to water since 2004.

It develops a sustainable solution to provide access to drinking water for the most vulnerable populations.

1001fontaines operates in Vietnam, Cambodia, Madagascar and Myanmar.

1 in 3 people do not have access to safe drinking water.

Our commitment to the human with Toutes à l’école

Founded in 2005 by journalist Tina Kieffer, the association Toutes à l'école provides high-quality education to the most disadvantaged girls in Cambodia.

Of the 774 million, two-thirds of world's illiterate adults are women.

Our other commitments

The Agence Nationale du don en nature

The products we can’t sell but remain usable are given to the Agence Nationale du don en nature, which distributes those to member associations. Items go to shelters or solidarity grocery stores.

Since 2022, we've donated more than 21,000 SOS Balms and 1,900 Hand Creams.

Pink October

Every year, we offer care workshops to women in remission from breast cancer, in partnership with hospitals.

Our commitments in Lyon

Le 111 des arts Lyon association

This association works to improve the hospitalization conditions of children with cancer and to fund pediatric research on cancer and leukemia.

Our donation helped to fund both pediatric research on cancer and leukemia as well as improve hospitalization conditions by funding art workshops for hospitalized children.

Les Nuits de Fourvière (The Fourvière Nights)

This cross-disciplinary festival featuring theater, music, dance, circus... is committed to artistic creation and cultural access. We donated products for the teams and artists.

We designed and created our entire range in France.

From the very beginning, we carefully select the partners we work with. It is essential that they share our values of respect for the environment, ethics and solidarity.

Today, we’re going even further: we aim to engage our entire ecosystem—training all our employees on environmental issues, involving our pharmacists in this transition, supporting our manufacturers in adopting more sustainable agricultural and industrial practices, and building partnerships to help regenerate local areas.

The people behind our commitment

To manufacture our products, we work whenever possible with committed manufacturers.

Some have built high environmental quality facilities using biodegradable or recyclable materials. Others use renewable energies to produce our products—solar thermal panels to heat process water, or infrared panels for ecological and economical heating.

Our logistics specialist, who oversees our entire production chain, is the partner who centralizes all our products and delivers them to our customers.

Their warehouses are equipped with photovoltaic panels that generate 100,000 kWh. This energy is then fed into the French electrical system, which corresponds to the annual consumption of 60 French households. The heating system in the buildings works with geothermal energy, using the heat of the earth in winter and its coolness in summer to avoid the use of conventional heating and air conditioning systems.

Together, we offer second-hand cardboard boxes for online orders placed on our website. We reuse the cartons that have transported our products from our manufacturers to our logistics partner. Approximately 60% of our orders are shipped in these boxes!

In Paris and Lyon, pharmacy deliveries are made using electric cargo bikes.

Social and human values

Whenever possible, we prioritize companies that employ people with disabilities or those in vocational rehabilitation.

This applies to all activities that require specific work: packing products in boxes, managing our waste, or even delivering orders to pharmacies in the Paris region by cargo bike.

Our high standards also apply to the suppliers who manufacture the accessories for us. We make sure they follow our CSR charter. That's why we evaluate their level of development on these aspects, and we confirm that the working conditions of their employees respect our requirements.

Our Engaged Team

At La Rosée, every employee and team plays a key role in bringing our CSR roadmap to life.

The Product Development team has gone a step further by revising our eco-design charter, while the Communication and Marketing teams have created their own guidelines to reduce the impact of events and photo shoots. The Human Resources department, meanwhile, has introduced the solidarity leave and proposed a dedicated engaged restaurant voucher card, called Coup de Pousse.

The Supply team has innovated by introducing second-hand packaging and is now experimenting with sailboat transport to ship our products to Canada. The Finance team is preparing to roll out a triple bottom line accounting system by 2027, and the Sales department now offers a loyalty card dedicated to refills.
